  • Plot Summary: AMY, a powerful film from Australian director Nadia Tass, is about a little girl whose father, a popular rock musician, is killed by accidental electrocution while he is on stage performing. After his death, Amy goes mute and deaf from psychological trauma. While social workers swarm around her, trying desperately to get her to speak and go to school, it is Amy herself who eventually makes the choice to communicate again when she realizes that she has a talent for singing.
